Access to The Grainstore is a short walk via a stoned path which crosses a paddock grazed by 2 horses, Katie and Tigger. They are both very gentle and love a stroke and a cuddle. (Tigger came from an equine charity and is easily frightened after suffering neglect in a previous home.)
The path is lit via solar lights which work via movement sensors during hours of darkness.
There are two comfortable divan beds which can be made up as twin or a double at your request. We provide 300 thread count bed linen, fluffy towels, pillows and duvets as well as cosy blankets for those chilly nights. Your en suite bathroom has a WC, and hot running water in the shower.
The Grainstore has 12v power supplied by a solar panel, which provides lighting and charging points for your mobile telephone and i pad.
Indulge in some star gazing courtesy of the
wonderful dark skies in this area, then relax and
enjoy a cwtch (the welsh word for a cuddle!) with
your favourite tipple in front of
the woodburner, before sinking into your
comfortable bed for a peaceful nights sleep.
Wake to the sounds of the
natural world and
take a while to lie in bed
and relax with a cup of tea
while enjoying the spectacular
views and watching the local
wildlife.
Cook yourself a hearty breakfast on
the two ring gas burner (pans and
basic cooking equipment is provided)
There is also a small built in
barbeque, and the bistro table
set provides an intimate
setting for al fresco dining.
You will find 2 comfortable garden chairs tucked away under the Grainstore which are are
perfect for relaxing with a good book under the sun umbrella.
Mosquito coils and citronella candles are also supplied.
The Grainstore is fully insulated, but for chilly evenings there is a supply of kindling and logs
for the wood burning stove, and even hot water bottles to keep you snug!
